Support
A real person reads every message. Email hello@5min.bible and you'll usually hear back within a day or two. Below are the questions we get most.
Reminders
Reminders are set from Account — pick a time and, on the web, allow notifications when your browser asks. On iOS and Android the app asks the first time you turn them on. If reminders stop arriving, the usual cause is notifications being switched off for the app at the system level (Settings → Notifications on your phone, or the site permission in your browser). Turn them back on and re-save your reminder time.
Streaks and grace days
You earn grace days as you read. A missed day spends one instead of resetting your streak, and you can see how many you have on the done screen. Reading more than once in a day is always welcome. Streaks are meant to be kind, not scary — if yours ever looks wrong, tell us and we'll look.
Translations
New readers start in the NIV. To switch between NIV, NKJV, ESV, NLT, The Message and the Berean Standard Bible (BSB), tap the translation button next to the passage heading on the reading screen — it also lives under Account. If a licensed translation can't load, we show the BSB for that reading rather than leaving you stuck. Verse numbers can be shown or hidden with the Verse numbers toggle beside it.
Gifts and receipts
Everything in 5 Minutes Bible is free; gifts on the Give page keep it that way. A thank-you email with your receipt arrives within a minute of a gift. To change or cancel a monthly gift, get a copy of a receipt, or ask about a charge you don't recognise, email give@5min.bible with the email address you gave at checkout.
Your account and data
Progress is saved to an anonymous account the first time you open the app; adding an email or signing in with Apple or Google lets you keep it across devices and use friends and groups. You can delete your account and everything in it from Account or the dedicated deletion page at https://app.5min.bible/account/delete — the deletion is immediate and permanent. The full privacy policy is short and in plain words.
Something broken?
Tell us what you were doing, what you expected, and what happened instead — a screenshot helps. Mention whether you were on the website, iPhone or Android. We fix real bugs quickly and we'll tell you when it's done.
